  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 0.5 tsp baking soda
  • 0.5 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 0.5 cup brown sugar
  • 0.25 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup Rice Krispies cereal
  • 0.75 cup chocolate chips

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Cream butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until fluffy.
  • Beat in egg and vanilla extract until smooth.
  • Stir in flour and baking soda until combined.
  • Fold in Rice Krispies and chocolate chips.
  • Drop spoonfuls onto baking sheet and bake 10–12 minutes until golden brown.
