Ingredients
  

  • 3 cups flour
  • 1 bottle stout beer
  • ¼ cup butter softened
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tbsp yeast
  • ½ cup dried currants
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • ½ tsp nutmeg
  •  
  • 1 tbsp orange zest

Instructions
 

  • Mix flour, yeast, spices, sugar, and zest in a bowl
  • Add eggs, stout beer, and butter, knead into soft dough
  • Fold currants into dough, allow dough to rise 1 hour
  • Form dough into buns, add cross decoration

  • Bake at 375°F for 20 min until golden brown
