- 1 tbsp instant coffee dissolved in 1 tbsp hot water
- 0.5 cup all-purpose flour
- 0.5 tsp baking powder
- 0.25 tsp salt
- 1 cup whipped cream or coffee-flavored whipped cream, for filling
- powdered sugar for dusting
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a jelly roll pan with parchment paper.
Beat eggs and sugar together until thick and pale.
Mix in dissolved coffee.
Sift in flour, baking powder, and salt; fold gently until combined.
Pour into prepared pan and spread evenly.
Bake for 10–12 minutes. Roll warm cake in parchment to form shape, cool, then fill with whipped cream and dust with powdered sugar.
